Houston police handled several investigations in the last week. 

The following reports were generated last week by the Houston Police Department:

•Adam P. Sirdoreus, 26, of 7324 Highway ZZ in Bucyrus, was issued a citation for failure to register a motor vehicle after a traffic stop on First Street at about 1:38 a.m. July 28.

•Blythe W. Brotherton, 18, of 10149 Buck Hollow Road in Licking, was issued a citation for driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop on U.S. 63 at 4:30 p.m. July 27.

•Shaun E. Smith, 34, of 827 W. Poplar St. in Springfield, was arrested July 27 for having an active Texas County warrant for driving without a valid license. An officer who knew about the warrant made the arrest at 7:35 p.m. while conducting a follow-up investigation of a separate incident at a Northview Lane trailer park. Smith was taken to the Texas County Jail where he was unable to post $195.50 bond.

•Jeremy D. W. King, 20, of 625 W. Highway 17 in Houston, was issued a citation for driving without a valid license after a traffic stop on Airport Road at 4:18 p.m. July 27.

•Stacy E. Bynum Jr. was issued a citation for failure to exhibit proof of insurance after a traffic stop on Bryan Street at 8:35 p.m. July 26.

•Edith A. Wen, 31, of 15325 Piney Drive in Bucyrus, was issued a citation for failure to register a motor vehicle after a traffic stop on U.S. 63 at 10:15 a.m. July 26.

•Paul F. Dodd, 41, of 1201 Thomasville Road in Houston, was arrested July 25 for having an active Texas County warrant for hindering the prosecution of a felony. An officer who was aware of the warrant made the arrest after seeing Dodd sitting on his front porch at about 11 p.m.

Dodd was taken to the Texas County Jail where he was unable to post $250,000 bond.

•Evelyn A. Sykes, 79, of 519 Richards St., Apt. 14 in Summersville, was issued a citation for failure to yield right-of-way following a two-vehicle accident on U.S. 63 at 4:15 p.m. July 24.

•Levi D. Hutsell, 33, of 204 W. Oak St. in Houston, was issued a citation for allowing dogs to run at large after a woman reported a boxer and a small dog had charged at her while she was walking on Oak Street.
