A Salem resident faces charges of statutory rape following his arrest Tuesday, July 16, by the Missouri State Highway Patrol

A man wanted on felony statutory rape charges was arrested Tuesday night in Texas County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said. 

Benjamin C. Ogden, 30, also was arrested on charges of driving while revoked, having no insurance and failing to register a motor vehicle. The rape charge was from Phelps County.

He was taken to the Texas County Jail, according to a report. Court records show he already is on probation.
