Highway 17 in Texas County will be reduced to one lane today as contractor crews construct shoulders and an asphalt overlay.
This section of roadway is Highway 38 to U.S. 63 in Houston.
Weather permitting, work will occur 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Saturday, Aug. 31. Work is expected Monday – Saturday.
