Brenda Lee Tarrants, 67, daughter of Miles and Johnnie (Hale) Hunt, was born Sept. 20, 1945, in Sikeston, Mo. She passed away on Aug. 23, 2013, in Springfield, Mo.
Brenda grew up in Sikeston, Mo., and attended Matthews High School.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Miles and Johnnie Hunt; her brother, John Hunt; and one grandson, Hayden Tarrants.
She is survived by her husband, Billy Tarrants, of the home; three daughters, Debbie Fergason and husband, Don, of Raymondville, Mp., Tina Tarrants of Springfield, Mo., Tanya Bathon and husband, Jerry, of Houston, Mo.; one son, Johnny Tarrants and wife, Betty, of Houston, Mo.; six grandchildren, Sierra and Desiree McLaughlin, Lyndsey and Caleb Tarrants and Austin and Mikayla Bathon; two great-grandchildren, Grayson and Keira; one sister, Charlotte Bryant of Champaign, Ill.; one brother, David Hunt of Sikeston, Mo.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Brenda will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
Services were 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27, at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Jackie Cooper and Rebekah Rosell officiating. Burial was in Pine Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers were Mike Cook, Bob Bryant, Tony Tarrants, Darin Gardner, Terry Williams and Scott Tarrants. Honorary pallbearers were Austin Bathon and Caleb Tarrants.
