The Texas County Fair and its sister attraction, the 103rd annual Old Settlers Reunion, kicked off Wednesday with a variety of livestock shows and entertainment.
The events are organized by the Houston Area Chamber of Commerce and Texas County Fair Board and staged at the fairgrounds on North U.S. 63.
Here is the schedule:
SATURDAY
9 a.m. – Dairy judged and ceremony to follow.
4 p.m. – Junior livestock sale.
7 p.m. – Jack Howell’s miniature pony pull. Tickets are $5 for adults and children 12 and under, free.
This year’s carnival midway is provided by Sonshine Carnival.
