Houston police handled several investigations in the last week.

The following reports were generated last week by the Houston Police Department.

•Crystal E. Hayes, 54, of 705 W. Highway 17 in Houston, was issued a citation for public nuisance Aug. 19 after allegedly having a 1994 Oldsmobile sedan parked in front of her residence for several months that was reportedly not drivable and had vegetation growing high around it.

An officer went to Hayes’ residence on Aug. 6 and advised her of the city public nuisance ordinance and gave her 10 days to move the car. She claimed at that time that the vehicle ran and belonged to her sister-in-law, and that she would resolve the problem.

The officer returned on Aug. 19 and the vegetation had been cut but the car was still there.

•Robert J. Enfield Jr., 18, of 16233 Forrest Drive in Houston, was arrested Aug. 23 at 9:25 p.m. for having an outstanding Texas County warrant for no seat belt. An officer made the arrest after issuing Enfield a citation for speeding and a resulting computer check revealed the warrant. Enfield was taken to the Texas County Jail, where he posted $20 bond and was released.

•Christopher L. Dugger, 25, of 22555 Edgmond Drive at Hartshorn, was issued a citation for driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop at 3:17 a.m. Aug. 23 on Grand Avenue.

An officer made the stop after observing a red Dodge pickup traveling without its headlights on. A computer check revealed that Duggar also had an outstanding Texas County warrant for failure to appear on charges of speeding and no seat belt.
