Road improvements for a portion of south Houston are under consideration by the Houston City Council.
Under a proposal, a new road would be constructed from C.W. Harry Drive to Cleveland Road.
City Administrator Larry Sutton said he has discussed the project with MoDOT due to the upcoming widening of U.S. 63 and the lack of an alternate hospital access coming from the south. Preliminary engineering and grant funding might be possible.
