A Rolla man died Sunday when his vehicle turned into the path of Cabool trailer-truck driver, authorities said.

A crash Sunday involving a Cabool driver killed a Rolla man, authorities said.

According to a report, a 2003 Freightliner tractor-trailer owned by Western Dairy Transport of Cabool, and driven by Mac A. Cooper, 54, of Cabool, was traveling north on U.S. 63 at Rolla in the passing lane.

A 1996 Ford F-250 driven by Jeremy Wayne Belcher, 22, was traveling south and crossed into the northbound lanes. Belcher’s truck was hit by the freightliner.

Belcher was taken to Phelps County Regional Medical Center and later flown to Mercy Medical in St. Louis, where he died from his injuries.
