County authorities say a Willow Springs woman missing since late May hasn’t been found.
Texas County Sheriff James Sigman said Monday that the quest to locate 45-year-old Shannon J. Minshall continues. Members of her family have told authorities Minshall was last seen in Texas County on May 23, and an official missing persons report was filed on May 31.
Minshall is a white female, and is 5’5” tall, weighs 130 pounds and has brown hair and blues eyes. She has several tattoos and a large scar on her left forearm.
“We have received several tips in this case but we are still in need of the public’s assistance,” Sigman said.
Over the past two months, sheriff’s department officers have spent numerous hours investigating.
Although information is sparse about progress being made, Sigman previously stated foul play is possibly involved.
“I can say her disappearance is suspicious to us,” he said.
A newly released photo of Minshall is different than the one circulated immediately after her disappearance.
Sigman encourages anyone with information about Minshall’s location to call the TCSD at 417-967-4165 or the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Missing Persons Clearinghouse at 573-526-6178
