Several activities — including music and a car show — are planned this evening (Thursday) in downtown Houston.
The 7 p.m. event begins in and around the Lone Star Plaza on Grand Avenue. That’s the same evening that a motorcycle club holds a monthly event.
Organizers said the family-friendly event also promises a bounce house, and some downtown businesses will be open later.
Music will be performed by entertainers Doug Driesel, Josh York and David Klotz.
“Our hope is to bring folks downtown on a night they otherwise wouldn’t be — to have fun, visit with each other and listen to some music and maybe even dance a little,” Klotz said. He added if there is an interest, more events will be held.
