Sales tax revenue collected by Texas County retailers dropped about 8 percent in the latest monthly distribution compared to a year ago, reports the Missouri Department of Revenue.
The tally on three, half-cent sales taxes was about $96,696 each. That’s down about $8,100 on each.
For the year, revenue is nearly identical to 2012: About $635,500 has been collected from each.Â
