Leata Lauvell Crews, 75, died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013, at Phelps County Regional Medical Center.
She was born April 21, 1938, in Palace, daughter of Alvin and Climmie Cassidy Willbanks.
She loved her family and helping others.
She was preceded in death by her father, Alvin; a daughter, Leata Kay Coker; and two brothers, Jack Laverne and John Henry Willbanks.
Survivors include her husband, Gene Crews; a son, Ivan Daniel Crews; a daughter, Teresa Ann Crews; her mother, Climmie Willbanks; and many other family members.
Services were Saturday, Sept. 28, at Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Lonnie Case and Paul Richardson officiating. Burial was in Beulah Cemetery.
