A woman from Licking was killed late Tuesday morning in a crash on I-44 in Franklin County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a westbound 1995 Ford Escort driven by Jessie T. Moss, 78, ran off the roadway and struck a tree. Emergency personnel declared her dead at the scene. Tpr. D.C. Highley said she was wearing a seat belt.
