Georgia Hendricks Graf, 89, died Sunday, Oct. 13, at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center in Ava.

She was born June 10, 1924, in Indianapolis, Ind., daughter of Clarence and Mary Madge Brown Ashe McClellan.

She worked alongside her husband, Lewis, in a bowling alley and restaurant in Indiana. While they lived in California, she worked n manufacturing. They later moved to Houston to care for Lewis’ parents.

After Lewis passed away, she married David Graf of Houston. As her health declined, she moved to Ava to be near her daughter, Toni.

She resided in healthcare facilities for several years. She enjoyed playing bingo at Ozarks Healthcare Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a twin brother, Joe; a brother, Carl; a sister, Helen; and two husbands, Lewis Hendricks and David Graf.

Survivors include two daughters, Toni J. Sheldon and Marsha A. Smedley; three grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation was under the direction of Ava Family Funeral Home.
