Three persons were injured Tuesday night in a crash south of Licking involving drunk driving, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Cpl. Dale Pounds of the patrol said a southbound 2011 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Jazmine J. Baker, 18, crossed the centerline two miles south of Licking on U.S. 63 and struck a guard rail. The vehicle became disabled in the roadway.
Baker and two passengers, James W. Dickens, 21, of Houston; and Cassie L. Duncan, 18, of Licking, were transported by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries.
Baker was cited with DWI, careless and imprudent driving and wearing no seat belt, Pounds said.
No one was wearing a seat belt, and the vehicle was totaled, Pounds said.
