A Willow Springs man was injured Tuesday night in a crash south of Licking, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Troopers said a 2006 Ford F-150 truck driven eastbound by Jeremy W. Carney, 41, of Willow Springs, failed to stop at a sign, travelled across Highway 137the roadway struck a MoDOT sign, a fence and an electrical pole.
Carney, who sustained minor injuries and was taken by private vehicle, was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston. He was not wearing a seat belt.
Intercounty Electric Cooperative said the accident affected a three-phase electrical pole at Highways P and 137. About 185 customers were without service for about three hours.
