The following reports were generated last week by the Houston Police Department.
•Patricia J. Forster, 29, of 303 N. Russell St. in Salem, was issued a citation on Nov. 1 for stealing under $500 after allegedly shoplifting a surround sound system and two cases of beer (with a total value of $251) from the Houston Walmart.
An officer located Forster in the store’s parking lot and questioned her. The determination was made that Forster had also stolen items Nov. 1 from the store.
She was arrested and taken to the Texas County Jail. Walmart management banned her from future entry to any store location.
•Ardis F. Morton Jr., 31, of 703 W. Chestnut St. in Houston, was issued a citation on Nov. 4 for failing to stop at a posted stop sign after an officer observed a white GMC Sierra traveling on First Street go through the intersection with Pine Street without stopping.
•An officer was dispatched at about 2 a.m. Nov. 17 regarding an unruly male patient in the Texas County Memorial Hospital emergency room.
Hospital personnel told the officer a man being treated for staph infection had tried to leave while still connected to an intravenous apparatus. A short time later, the officer located the man in the parking lot of a nearby business. A routine computer check revealed that a woman with him had an active probation and parole arrest warrant.
Wendy L. Sullins, 34, of 11309 Reed Road at Licking, was arrested and taken to the Texas County Jail.
•Kerry L. York, 41, of 714 Ozark St. in Houston, was issued a citation for failure to yield right of way after a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Hawthorne Avenue and Bryan Street Nov. 13 at about 8 a.m.
•Benjamin J. White, 23, of 15073 Highway AW at Plato, was issued a citation for stealing under $500 at about 2:10 p.m. Nov. 14 after being caught allegedly attempting to shoplift several items from the Houston Walmart (with a total value of $135).
•Dallas M. East, 48, of 4751 Hamilton Creek Road at Cabool, was issued a citation for careless and imprudent driving at about 3:20 p.m. Nov. 4 after a two-vehicle accident on U.S. 63 at Chestnut Street.
