Youth hunters killed 295 deer in the weekend season in Texas County, according to a tally posted by the Missouri Department of Conservation.

The count was: 183, bucks; 36, button bucks; and 76, does. 

The top counties were: Franklin, 424; Osage, 421; and Howell, 409.
