Singers throughout Texas County have teamed up to present a concert Friday at a Houston church.
The Texas County Community Singers will present “Our Gift of Music” at 7 p.m. at Ozark Baptist Church. The group is under the direction of Beth Williamson, choir director at Houston Schools.
The 30-voice choir will present a variety of Christmas music in addition to a rendition of “Battle Hymn of the Republic” and “The Awakening.” The handbell choir from the Houston United Methodist Church will join the choir for a presentation of “Joy to the World.”
The evening will also include several soloists and music from the handbell choir.
