A Texas County man wanted in a 20-year-old rape in Maryland was arrested Friday, the Texas County Sheriff’s Department said.
Lt Wes Campbell said Robert S. Venker of Licking was wanted on charges of first-degree rape, second-degree rape, first-degree sexual offense and first-degree assault in Baltimore County, Md.
Campbell said Venker, 44, was already on probation for a second-degree assault conviction in October of this year in Texas County.
