Glenna M. Speer, 70, of Winfield, died Sunday, Dec. 15, 2013, at her daughter’s home.

She was born Feb. 7, 1943, in St. Louis, daughter of Cecil and Jessie Young of 
Licking. She and Glen Speer were married April 11, 1959.

She was baptized when she was in her 30s at Dardenne Presbyterian Church, where she was a 
member for many years.

She enjoyed playing bingo and games on the internet and connecting with family and friends on Facebook.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen; her parents; and two brothers, Sydney and Gary.

Survivors include four children, Lori Ortmann of St. Louis, Karen Vitro of Elsberry, Steve Speer of Kansas City and Jennifer Henry of Winfield; 11 grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild.

Graveside services were Sunday, Dec. 22, in Licking Cemetery under direction of Fox Funeral Home.
