A Houston woman received moderate injuries Sunday afternoon, Dec. 1, in a Webster County accident, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said. 

A Houston woman was injured Sunday afternoon in an automobile accident on U.S. 60 at Diggins, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Troops said a southbound 2005 Dodge Neon driven by Julia A. Bryan, 75, crossed U.S. 60 and pulled into the path of an eastbound 2005 Cadillac Deville operated by Raymond L. Odle, 82, of Goreville, Ill.

Bryan, Odle and a passenger in the Odle vehicle were taken by ambulance to Cox South with moderate injuries. Cpl. R.C. Savage said the three were wearing seat belts at the time of the 1:50 p.m. accident. The Cadillac was totaled; the Neon had extensive damage, Savage said.
