Licking easily got the best of the Houston Lady Tigers in this year’s rivalry game.

HHS managed just nine field goals and struggled against the Lady Wildcats’ zone defense in a 62-32 loss Monday night inside Hiett Gymnasium.

Megan Smith scored 23 and Baile Osborne had 15.

JUNIOR VARSITY: Krista Scott scored 12 points, including the go-ahead layin with 39 seconds remaining, as the JV Lady Tigers edged Licking 33-31 Monday night.

Scott hit a jumper with 1:19 remaining before Licking made two foul shots to tie it. Scott gave the Lady Tigers the lead for good when she drove the length of the court and scored in traffic on the next possession.
