The manager and employee of the year were named and 42 others were honored at last week’s 31st annual celebration hosted by Texas County Memorial Hospital.
David Rosemann of Rolla was selected the manager of the year and Houston’s Gina Ross was named top employee during the event at Faith Fellowship. About 125 employees and their guests attended.
Rosemann, an employee at TCMH since 2008, is the director of the plant operations department at TCMH. He was selected for the honor by the hospital’s administrative team. It was the second time Rosemann has received the top managerial award. He also given the honor in 2009.
“If it wasn’t for David, our construction project would not have been completed to our level of satisfaction,” said Wes Murray, chief executive officer at TCMH. “Over the past couple of years, David has made sacrifices for the hospital and our community that have been unseen by everyone.”
Ross is registered nurse in the medical surgical department at TCMH and has worked at the hospital for three years. Ross won employee of the month honors in December ––the second time she received the recognition.
Doctors, nurses, patients, visitors and other departmental staff members all interact with Ross in her role as a medical surgical department nurse.
“Gina is compassionate in the nursing care she provides her patients and their family members,” said Dorrett Todd-Willis of TCMH. “Gina projects a positive image as a TCMH employee and as role model for others.”
The manager of the year and the employee of the year were honored with an engraved plaque, $500 cash, a pin and a day of paid time off.
The TCMH Customer Quality Team honored two employees that exemplified excellent customer service in 2013. David Jones, a floor maintenance technician in the housekeeping department, and Alison Clayton, systems administrator in the information systems department, received the honors. Both were given a plaque and cash award.
The TCMH information systems department was named “Customer Service Department of the Year.” The team noted that the information systems department took on a large workload in 2013 with the hospital’s expansion project. The department will receive a special meal in their honor.
