Two Summersville men were involved Sunday, Dec. 15, in a two-vehicle crash about one mile east of Summersville.

A Summersville man sustained injuries about noon Sunday in a two-car crash just east of his hometown, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Cpl. B.D. Foster said a westbound 1996 Dodge pickup driven by Verlin E. Richardson, 86, of Summersville,  was making a left turn and pulled into the path of an eastbound 2009 Chevrolet operated by Dale G. Bobrowske, 56, of Summersville.

Foster said Bobrowske was taken with minor injuries to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston. Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Bobrowske’s vehicle was totaled. Richardson’s truck had minor injuries.
