A Houston woman was injured in a crash near West Plains on Wednesday, Jan. 29.

A Houston woman was injured Wednesday morning in a Howell County crash, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said. 

Tpr. J.M. Heimsoth said a southbound 2003 Volkswagen driven by Tina M. Wilson, 57, slowed to make a turn into a private drive and was struck in the rear by a 2001 Toyota operated by Mathias W. Harrison, 16, of West Plains. The mishap occurred at the south edge of West Plains on U.S. 63.

Wilson, who had minor injuries, was taken to Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains. Both vehicles had moderate damage. Wilson was wearing a seat belt, and the other driver was not, the patrol said.
