A two-vehicle crash is reported on Highway WW about three miles off Highway 17. Summersville emergency personnel responded.

A motorcycle accident Sunday night claimed the life of a Summersville man, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Authorities said a 1999 Mercury operated by Ronald K. Cunningham, 44, of Summersville, backed north out of a drive onto Highway WW and was struck by an eastbound motorcycle that crested a hill and struck the vehicle.

Dead is Greg A. Davis, 26. He was pronounced dead at the scene about four miles south of Summersville.

Responding to the scene were four Missouri State Highway Patrol officers and the Summersville Fire Department. 

Services for Mr. Davis are 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, at Bradford Funeral Home Chapel, Summersville. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.


EARLIER: The Summersville Fire Department is responding to an accident involving a vehicle and motorcycle crash. 

The wreck, which was reported at about 5 p.m. Sunday,  is three miles off Highway 17 on Highway WW.
