A meeting to discuss the future of the farmers market in Houston is 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Houston Visitors Center.
The meeting is for new and existing vendors as well as other friends and supporters of the farmers market. The agenda includes creating a board of directors, market rules and regulations, a presentation from the West Plains Farmers Coop and discussion of a potential year-round Houston Farmers Market.
Finger food will be served. Those attending are welcome to bring something to share.
