Houston Schools adopted a revised calendar this week to accommodate missed days due to inclement weather.
Snow and ice have canceled 17 days of school this year. The district is required to make up 14 of those dates.
Classes will be in session Feb. 28, March 17 and April 17 –– three dates previously scheduled as days off. The parent/teacher conferences on Feb. 27 have been canceled.
At the request of HHS principal Charlie Malam, the board set the 2014 graduation as 4 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at Tiger Stadium. The final day of school will be May 23. School will dismiss at 12:34 p.m.
