Lonnie Ray Van Horn Sr., 57, died Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, in Fenton.

He was born Sept. 21, 1956, in St. Louis, son of Ray and Lorene Violet Steelman Van Horn. He married Mary Jane Wylde and later married Sharon Cox.

He lived in St. Louis most of his life and worked as a tow truck driver until he retired due to ill health.

He loved his family, fishing and hanging out with friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon; his parents; three sisters, Betty Jean Van Horn, Diana Van Horn and Pat Davis; two brothers, Jimmy and James Van Horn; and one grandson, Sebasten Van Horn.

Survivors include his wife, Angie of St. Peters; his son, Lonnie Van Horn Jr., of St. Peters; a daughter, Laurie Van Horn of Florissant; two sisters, Linda of Fenton and Bonnie Cox of Maplewood; five grandchildren; and many other family members.

Services were Sunday, Feb. 16, at Bradford Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Steelman officiating. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery.
