A Rolla man is charged with swiping a donation jar from a local business, Houston police said.
James D. Wakenight, 33, of Rolla, was issued a citation for stealing under $500 after allegedly taking a donation jar containing cash to help benefit a Houston woman from Town and Country Supermarket on Feb. 9.
After an investigation, Wakenight was arrested Feb. 11 while sitting in a woman’s car in the Walmart Supercenter parking lot. Wakenight also had an active probation and parole warrant.
