The Plato School District has revised its calendar.

The Plato School District, which has missed 18 days due to inclement weather, released a revised calendar and announced other important dates this week.

Following the latest round of winter weather, Plato’s school board said school will be in session March 17-20. The district has already held three makeup dates, and the previous makeup days of March 26, April 30, May 15 and May 19-22 will remain as scheduled.

“The board realizes this will conflict with many preset schedules,” Dr. Ben Yocom, superintendent, said of the makeup dates. “But the inclement weather has greatly decreased the students’ learning opportunities, and the board felt something had to be done to address the lost learning time.”

Graduation will be Friday, May 16, and the final day of school is Thursday, May 22. Summer school will begin the following week on Tuesday, May 27.
