Texas County’s sales tax was up about 1.7 percent during the last monthly distribution — compared to the same period a year ago, reports the Missouri Department of Revenue.
The tally was $67,147, which was up about $1,151 from a year ago.
The county collects three half-cent sales taxes that are used for general operations, debt repayment on the justice center and maintenance.
