Filings close Tuesday, March 25, for various offices that will be filled in the party nomination process in the August Primary.
Filing are incumbents Don Troutman, county clerk, Democrat; Marci Mosley, circuit clerk, Republican; Fred Stenger, presiding commissioner, Republican; Michael Anderson, prosecutor, Republican; Doug Gaston, associate circuit judge, Republican; and Susan Warkentin, recorder of deeds, Republican. Parke Stevens Jr. is seeking the Republican nomination for prosecutor.
Filings for the 8th Congressional seat are: U.S. Rep. Jason Smith, a Salem Republican; Barbara Stocker, a Silva Democrat; and Doug Enyart, Piedmont, Constitution Party.
Rep. Robert Ross, R-Yukon, is seeking re-election. Phelps County Prosecutor John Beger, a Rolla Republican, filed for circuit judge, division 2.
