Geraldine Brim, 75, passed away Monday, March 10, 2014, at Brent B. Tinnin Nursing Center in Ellington.
She was born June 22, 1938, in Joy, daughter of Arthur Ray and Lela Bell Crabtree James. She married Cloe Harvey Brim.
When she lived in the Summersville and Hartshorn area, she attended the Hartshorn Assembly of God Church and Midvale Church. She enjoyed all the churches that came to the nursing home to hold services.
She enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening and canning. She loved to quilt, needlepoint and crafts. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death her parents; her ex-husband; two daughters, Evelyn Louis Brim and a stillborn; two brothers, Archie James and an infant; two sisters, Shirley Mattoy and Wilma Gant; and a halfsister, Goldie May James.
Survivors include two children, Janet Stoops of Ellington and Rick Brim of Willow Springs; many grandchildren; a sister, Nadine Cameron of Alabama; four brothers, Donnie James, Frank James and David James of Licking and Danny James of Hermann; 15 great-grandchildren; a host of other family members and friends.
Services were Thursday, March 13, at Bradford Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Gary Steelman officiating. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery.
