Harry Edward Flowers III, 41, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2014, in Willow Springs.

He was born Aug. 18, 1972, in Alton, Ill., son of Harry Edward Flowers Jr. and Frances Lenora Hartley. He and Nancy Rose Lute were married June 29, 1996.

He attended Clear Springs Church when he was able. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, barbecues with family, back riding and going to the river. He was studying to become a history teacher. He loved to watch the Rams and the Cardinals. He was a collector of Zippo lighters.

He was preceded in death by his mother and a sister, Catherine Ann Flowers.

Survivors include his father and stepmother, Harry Edwards Flowers Jr. and Beverly Ann Franklin Flowers of Willow Springs; two sisters, Amanda Lorraine Flowers Messex and Mindy Nichole Flowers Hosier of Willow Springs; a son, Andrew Edward Flowers of Redding, Calif.; a grandmother, Annabelle Stewart Hartley of Willow Springs; a granddaughter; and several other family members.

Services were Saturday, March 8, at Bradford Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. George Smith officiating. Burial was in Union Chapel Cemetery
