Two Houston High School basketball players were named Monday to their respective all-district teams.
Sophomore Sarah Kelley represented the Lady Tigers on the girls’ Class 3 District 10 team, and senior Devin Coulter was named to the boys’ team. Positions on both teams were selected by district coaches.
Kelley, who led No. 6 Houston to the district championship game, averaged 14.5 points and 7.0 rebounds as the team’s leading scorer and rebounder. She also shot a team-best 49.6 percent from the field and ranked third on the team with 1.4 steals per game.
Coulter averaged 17.5 points per game to lead the Tigers in scoring for the second straight season. A four-year starter, Coulter scored 1,296 career points to become the Tigers’ all-time leading scorer.
