Teri Jean Lewis, 48, passed away Friday, March 21, 2014 in Springfield.
She was born July 23, 1965, in Houston, daughter of Gene and Judy Evans Strong. She and Lloyd Lewis were married June 30, 1990.
She grew up in Cabool and graduated from Cabool High School in 1983. After marriage, she and her husband, Lloyd, made their home in Summersville for a few years until moving to Houston.
She enjoyed doing crafts. She wove baskets, made jewelry and knitted. Many of her handmade crafts were shared with family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Lloyd of the home; her parents, Gene and Judy Strong of Elk Creek; her grandmother, Pauline Matthis of Cabool; two sisters, Paula of Seymour and Tammy Boileau of Strafford; three nephews; and one niece.
Cremation was under the direction of Evans Funeral Home. No services are planned at this time.
