THOMAS CLAYTON

Thomas “Tommy” Ray Clayton, 54, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014.

He was born Aug. 2, 1959, in Houston, son of Ray Dow and Evalee Clayton. He married Teresa in 2001.

He graduated from Licking High School in 1978 and continued to live most of his life in Licking.

He loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and coon hunter. He enjoyed playing with his grandson, Elijah. He placed in the top 10 in the World Hunt with his coon dog, Sheena.

He attended church at Boone Creek in Licking and most recently at New Harmony in Salem.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ray.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa; two children, Evan and Shelby; a grandson; his mother, Evalee; three brothers, Ramon, Len and Tillman; and many other family members.

Graveside services were Tuesday, March 25, in Boone Creek Cemetery with Pastor David Gidcumb officiating. Services were under direction of Fox Funeral Home.
