Two residents from Licking were injured late Tuesday night in a Phelps County crash on Interstate 44, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Artishia R. Schuler, 37, of Licking, was driving westbound in a 2002 Mitsubishi Diamante that started to skid and traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a guardrail at about 11:20 p.m. and came to rest in the ditch, said Tpr. John Cobb of the patrol.
Two passengers, Joshua C. Brandt, 33, Licking; and Amber M. Carroll, 26, St. James; were taken by ambulance with minor injuries to Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla.
Cobb said the vehicle had extensive damage. Everyone was wearing a seat belt, he said.
