Two Elk Creek residents were injured early Monday in a crash south of Rolla.

A driver was injured Sunday afternoon when she lost control of her vehicle on an ice-covered bridge about five miles north of Cabool on U.S. 63.

Tpr. Myron Downey of the Missouri State Highway Patrol said a southbound 2004 Saturn Ion driven by Samatha S. Cooper, 23, of Memphis, Tenn., went out-of-control, crossed the center line and struck a northbound 2011 Chevrolet 1500 pickup operated by Matthew R. Freeman, 33, of Kennett.

Downey said Cooper had minor cuts to her face, but refused treatment at the scene. He said both drivers were wearing seat belts, and each vehicle had extensive damage.

Three vehicles were totaled and one person injured in a crash Sunday afternoon about three miles north of Cabool on U.S. 63.

Tpr. Curtis Hubbs said a 1996 Toyota Corolla driven southbound by Robert H. Domokos, 60, of Raymondville, lost control on the ice-covered roadway and struck a northbound 2008 Chevrolet HHR operated by Kevin R. Stough, 64, of House Springs, in the left front. The Domokos vehicle then continued spinning after impact and struck head-on a northbound 2005 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Brian L. Nelson, 52, of Licking.

Domokos, who had minor injuries, was taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital.

Hubbs said all three drivers were wearing seat belts.
