Wilma Lorraine Hull, 86, of Antioch, Ill., passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014, at home.
She was born April 8, 1927, in Raymondville, daughter of the George W. and Lelah Vandervort Branson. She and Walter D. Hull were married Aug. 27, 1948, in St. Louis.
Before her retirement, she worked as a bookkeeper at Mundelein High School and later for the Lake County Forest Preserve. She combined her passion in exploring new places while supporting her husband’s military career. She continued to travel with him in their retirement and enjoyed meeting others through golf, bowling and playing bridge.
Survivors include her husband of nearly 66 years, Walter; two children, Pamella Gray of Dousman, Wisc., and Janet Betustak of Lindenhurst, Ill.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Faye Beasley of Raymondville and Iva Kamp of Houston; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson; and four siblings, Irva McBee, Herman Branson, Roy Branson, and Jean Beasley.
Funeral services and burial are private under the direction of Strang Funeral Home of Antioch, Ill.,
