Houston eighth-grader Evan Richardson set a pair of school records at last Tuesday’s 14-team meet in West Plains.
Richardson ran the 100 meters in 12.32 seconds and the 200 in 25.51. He was fourth in the 100 and third in the 200.
Noah Mosley finished second in the hurdles for the eighth-grade boys.
Eighth-grader Amber Johnson had the lone victory for Houston Middle School. She ran the 75-meter hurdles in 13.67 to top the rest of the field.
The 4×400 relay team of Johnson, Madison Lawson, Sevanna Rowland and Taylor Chipps finished fourth. Katilyn Root was fifth in the discus.
Emma Sisk was seventh in the long jump, and Amanda Brown placed seventh in the discus as the high finishers for the seventh-grade girls.
