Faye Marie Aldridge, 75, passed away Friday, April 18, 2014, after a long illness.

She was born Nov. 1, 1938, in Cabool, daughter of Fred and Doris Goforth. She and Bobby Joe Aldridge were married July 14, 1956 in Cabool.

She spent most of her life in the Tyrone area. She worked at Rawlings for 25 years. She and her husband, Bobby, relocated to the Springfield area 25 years ago and for the past 10 years, she worked for Billy Long and the Bobby Kohlmeier Auction Service.

She loved her family, stock car races, baseball, arranging flowers and doing crafts.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Bobby Aldridge; three children, Brenda Clinton of Republic, Linda Rider of Cleburne, Texas, and Robert Aldridge of Springfield; five grandchildren; eight grand-children; and eight siblings, Doyle Goforth of Salem, Freda Kell of Raymondville, Deloris Haney of Arnold, Vera Byse of Tyrone, Donnie Goforth of Cabool and Cleta McKinney, Trish Neugebauer and DeWayne Goforth of Houston.

Services were Tuesday, April 22, at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home in Springfield.
