Lonnie Calvin Turner, 89, passed away Nov. 18, 2013, in Jackson, Mich.

He was born June 24, 1924, in Goodwater, son of Gordon and Ada Miner Turner.

He lived in Licking most of his life. After his health failed he moved to Jackson, Mich., with his son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Bonnie Turner.

He worked at a sawmill for many years.

Survivors include his children, Lonnie Gene Turner, Judy Everhart of Wichita, Kan., Billy Turner of Jackson, Mich., and Robin Turner of Wichita, Kan.; a sister, Bertha Prater; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorial services are 11 a.m. Friday, April 18, at Boone Creek Baptist Church with Pastor David Barbee will officiating. Cremains will be buried in Boone Creek Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
