Texas County hunters bagged nearly 200 turkeys in the first two days of the spring season.
The total was 191 early Wednesday morning.
The breakdown in the county was: 168 adult birds; one bearded hen; and 22 juvenile gobblers.
Tops in the state was Franklin County with 238.
