Dorothy Roberta Hauser, 69, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2014, in Foristell.

She was born Aug. 24, 1944, in St. Louis, daughter of Ray Steelman and Dorothy Asplin. She married Gerald Hauser.

She loved walks in the park, crafts, black and white Western movies, the television shows Nancy Grace and Jane Velez-Mitchell, sunflowers, hummingbirds, tropical islands and family.

She was a seamstress and enjoyed painting. She loved knitting, crochet and making elegant quilts. She enjoyed traveling around the country, vacationing on tropical islands and enjoying their cultures.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Tammy Hauser; a brother, Don Steelman; and two sisters, Estele Large and Regina Weeks.

Survivors include her husband, Gerald Hauser; three sons, Mike, Jerry and Robert; and a host of family members.

Memorial services are noon Saturday, May 3, at Bradford Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Steelman officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery.
