Jordan Russell fired an 81 to lead the Houston golf team’s third-place finish last Thursday at Mountain Grove.
Kobe Sutton shot an 86 to join Russell among the top 15 individual scores. Also competing for HHS were Dalton Hale (89), Ty Albrecht (94) and Lowell Tune (97).
Ava had a combined score of 327 to easily win the team competition. Thayer (348), Houston (350) and Mountain Grove (351) were second, third and fourth.
On April 15, Houston finished fifth among 18 schools at Marshfield. Albrecht and Sutton shot 88s to lead the team, followed by Hale (94), Tune (96) and Russell (101).
