Alma Jones Buckner, 90, passed away Monday, May 5, 2014.
She was born Sept. 13, 1923, in Dixon, daughter of Ray and Ollie Jones. She and Cecil Buckner were married April 23, 1944.
She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 50 years, Cecil; two sons, Clifford and Ron; five siblings, Thurman, Clyde, Seldon, Jesse and Maude.
Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Marler; a son, Jerry; a sister, Birtha McWilliams; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and many other family members.
Services were Friday, May 9, at Fox Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Paul Richardson officiating. Burial was in Mitchell Cemetery.
