Houston High School recently graduated seniors who could receive $799,850 in scholarships and other aid, school officials announced. Many of the financial awards were disclosed during graduation Saturday.
Receiving the College Preparatory Studies Certificate were: Marissa Johnston, Caroline Dunn, Desiree Venable, Alex Stevenson, Ryan McGrath, Dakota Hugenot, Cheston Malam, Tyler Best, Tanner Smith, Robert Kinney and Ely Todd.Â
Receiving the President’s Award for Educational Excellence were: Kayla Shriver, Thaddeus Schmutzler, Sydney Cremer, Natasha Smith, Sierra Weaver, Nicole Pinkston, Tyler Best, Kristian Bennett, Trevor Merckling, Ryan McGrath, Dakota Hugenot, Tanner Smith, Robert Kinney, Jennifer Thomas, Desiree Venable, Ely Todd, Cheston Malam and Caroline Dunn.
